Quest for best costume brings out superheroes
Bill Lofstrom, district manager for Masquerade LLC, the parent company of Halloween Adventure, said Captain America, Green Lantern, Spider-Man and Iron Man costumes continue to be hot sellers as Halloween approaches. The store hasn't had many requests for adult costumes yet because most occur within two weeks before Halloween, Mr. Lofstrom said. At Halloween Adventure in the former Filene's Basement building in the Waterfront, Homestead, superhero costumes have been the most popular outfits for boys age 12 and under. Cinderella needn't worry, though: "Princess costumes do very well for us, too," Mr. Lofstrom noted. "[Customers] get the children taken care of first, get some ideas and come back for their own costumes late in the season," he said.Sneak Up On Someone In A Halloween Mask
